About the Quirky Dove

I care deeply about animal welfare. In addition to using vegan supplies, the common thread you will notice that weaves my art together is that each piece contains some form of creature.

I also care about our environment and enjoy creating art using recycled materials. Many of the raw materials I use come from thrift stores, garage sales, or are discarded from construction sites. This is called upcycling. I enjoy using items in new and unique ways and find my creativity sparked by the artificial boundaries of working with found materials.
